Situated at the start of the beautiful Val d’Intelvi, it boasts a medieval centre enhanced by an ancient bridge that was part of the original route of the Regina road.
There is a beautiful cable car ride from Argegno to Pigra (860m) with sweeping views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
