The Piano Lake located in the Menaggio Valley, is a natural reserve; an interesting environment for naturalistic observations. The path starts from Bene Lario along the wooded slopes of Mount Galbiga and it is deeped in the rural landscape. It will also follow a stretch of the former railway “Porlezza – Menaggio”, suppressed in 1935, and now partly converted into a bike path.
