The wonderful trip from Menaggio to Como, which takes about two hours, allows you to admire the beautiful villas and villages that overlook this branch of the lake and that are hardly visible from the road.
The centre of Como, situated within the ancient medieval walls, is rich in monuments and works of art: on the picturesque Piazza del Duomo stands the Broletto, the ancient town hall dating back to 1200, with the bell tower next to it.
